A nutrient dense GF flour alternative made from 100% Australian grown hazelnuts. This meal is a by-product of the oil extraction process therefore is virtually fat-free nut meal, and has a much longer shelf life. This high protein, mineral rich meal is good for adding to porridge, biscuits & baking, crumbed fish, crumbles for desserts etc.
Tip: when replacing other nut meals, consider adding extra oils/butter to the recipe to make up the moisture. Hazelnut oil makes up approx 50% of Hazelnuts as a guide.

A very fine meal brown in colour .. I’m guessing g due to roasting ? Different to my usual meal with is pale in colour I roasted with skins flecked though
Have not opened the contents of my order yet, however I was very impressed with the speedy delivery, the beautiful packaging and the thoughtful and completely unexpected five dollar note included as a refund on the freight cost 😁
I bought hazelbrae hazelnuts products for the first time as I was sick of buying tasteless supermarket Turkish produced hazelnuts.
I'm so impressed with the products.
I have made hazelnut roulade and gluten free hazelnut biscuits with the hazelnut meal and the roasted hazelnuts are a taste sensation...o also bought some hazelnut butter and I found it hard to stop eating direct from the jar!. This is a wonderful Australian product and something the producers should be incredibly proud of!
I made the Hazelnut and banana bread recipe on the website . It was brilliant even though I only had 1 banana. It kept well in the fridge and toasted up beautifully. I gave some meal to my neighbour to try and she is now a fan
I love the hazelnut meal - and the rest of the products. Without a doubt the banana and hazelnut meal cake is the best we have had in our house! We can’t live without it - nor the hazelnut oil……...
