Ordered quite a few bags as have had Coledale walnuts before when in Tasmania. Wonderfully walnuty tasting and fresh bite feel to the tooth. So different to what is in the supermarkets. Absolutely recommend them.

We just love the roasted hazelnut so much. They are super crunchy and yummy.

Simply the best

I recently noticed on instagram a reference to Hazelbrae hazelnuts.
I went to their website, loved the sound of all their local Tasmanian products and immediately ordered online a bag of nuts plus a 250ml bottle of oil.
I received my order extremely quickly and have used the nuts, roasted and chopped, in a salad plus in an apple crumble topping, and the oil in the salad recipe as provided on the oil label, for a roasted beetroot, fetta and hazelnut salad.
I took the salad to a luncheon with a bunch of vegetarian friends and they raved about it and absolutely loved the very distinct hazelnut flavour of the salad.
I will definitely be reordering more.

The hazelnuts ioil is my go to for salads and desserts. In fact I now love your hazelnut meal as a substitute for almond meal which I use in most of my cakes and desserts. visited the farm while caravanning around Tasmania last summer. Bought 1 kg roast hazelnuts and froze them when we arrived home, as suggested. They really did defrost to just as fresh and crisp. This season purchased a 2.5 kg pack to use throughout the year. Already turned some into hazelnut biscotti, chopped to sprinkle over salads and desserts. Truly delicious!

I have always avoided hazelnuts and wasn't at all a fan until my friends shared some Hazelbrae from a recent order. Wow, if this is what hazelnuts really should taste like, I am converted.
